Grosses Grosses Analysis: Hello, Dolly! Puts 200+ Million Pennies in Its Pocket Hello, Dolly! and Hamilton both surpassed $2 million in the last week of September.

As Broadway enters the fall season, the Bette Midler-led Hello, Dolly! remained in the box-office frontrunners, grossing $2,310,278 and surpassing its potential more than any other show.

The only other show to gross more than $2 million was Hamilton, taking the top spot with $2,941,667.

Kinky Boots, which just welcomed back original stars Billy Porter (who won a Tony for his performance as Lola) and Stark Sands, saw an uptick of over $70,000 from the week prior.

In addition to Hamilton and Hello, Dolly!, three other box-office favorites surpassed both their gross and capacity potentials: Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, and The Book of Mormon.
