The Tony-winning musical Hamilton and the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly! continued to reign at the box office, taking in $2,932,833 and $2,317,150, respectively, for the week ending September 24.

Although those were the only two shows to break the $2 million mark, several surpassed $1 million at the box office: Aladdin ($1,344,625), Come From Away ($1,310,806), Dear Evan Hansen ($1,672,109), The Book of Mormon ($1,193,378), The Lion King ($1,859,496), and Wicked ($1,408,133).

A Doll's House, Part 2, Lucas Hnath's sequel to the Henrik Ibsen classic, ended its run September 24 at the Golden Theatre. The critically acclaimed production took in $332,574 during its final week, up from $303,106 the previous week.

While Hamilton and Hello, Dolly! took the top spots by gross, the aforementioned Come From Away dominated by capacity, playing the relatively smaller Schoenfeld Theatre to above full capacity. It also surpassed its potential gross by nearly four percent.
