The Broadway premiere of Aaron Sorkin's stage adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird is showing no signs of resting its case.
The new play, based on Harper Lee's beloved novel, grossed $1,539,571 (111.07 percent of its potential) at the Shubert Theatre in the week ending February 10. The play, starring Jeff Daniels and Celia Keenan-Bolger, continues its streak of playing to Standing Room Only crowds, reaching a 101.4 percent capacity once again. The production was up $45,126 from the previous week.
The drama was among the frontrunners of the week, trailing only behind The Lion King, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and, leading the pack with $3.1 million, Hamilton.

Most shows saw a box office bump back to typical numbers following a dip the week before. Among the shows seeing the most dramatic upticks were long-runners Beautiful, Kinky Boots, The Book of Mormon, and The Phantom of the Opera, each with an increase of more than $100,000.
