Ain’t Too Proud—The Life and Times of the Temptations, which is currently nominated for 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical, continues to play to full houses.

The musical, utilizing the group’s numerous hits to tell the story of their journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, played to 99.69 percent capacity for the week ending June 2, taking in $1,513,346 at the box office (102.81 percent of its possible gross).

Hadestown, leading the awards season pack with 14 Tony nods is also playing to full houses. The modern reimagining of the legend of Orpheus and his quest to Hades to rescue his beloved Eurydice brought in $1,181,102 (107.96 percent of its potential). Audiences filled the Walter Kerr Theatre to 101.25 percent capacity.

The highest-grossing production of the week was the Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton ($3,153,319), followed by The Lion King ($2,232,096), Wicked ($1,818,939), and To Kill a Mockingbird ($1,593,907).
