Irish Repertory Theatre honored Bill Clinton at its 30th anniversary gala at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall June 17. The Off-Broadway theatre company, which is dedicated to the work of Irish playwrights old and new, celebrated the former president’s efforts in helping secure peace in Northern Ireland, including his work on the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.

“We have long admired what President Clinton has done for both Ireland and the Irish-American community here in the U.S.," says Irish Rep producing director Ciaran O’Reilly. "His peace-building efforts were instrumental in securing a lasting peace in Northern Ireland and we are honored that he will join us to commemorate our 30th Anniversary Season.”

The evening, directed by Irish Rep's artistic director Charlotte Moore, included presenters and performers Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tony Award nominee Melissa Errico, and more.
