Schitt's Creek centers on a wealthy family—led by video store magnate Johnny (Eugene Levy) and his soap opera star wife Moira (Catherine O'Hara)—that find themselves completely broke. Their sole remaining asset is a small town called Schitt's Creek, which the Roses bought as a gag gift years earlier. With their life of luxury now firmly in the past, the Rose family is forced to face their newfound poverty head-on and come together as a family to survive in their new home.

The show, created by Dan and his father and co-star Eugene Levy, was recently renewed for a sixth and final season.
