Don Darryl Rivera, who created the role of Iago in the show's Seattle premiere and reprised his performance in the Broadway production of Disney's Aladdin, takes us behind the scenes at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Rivera shows us how he gets into character every night, from getting into hair and makeup, to prepping with his "Side Kick Alley" costars before stepping onstage.

The stage production has music by Alan Menken, lyrics by the late Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and book and additional lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Tony Award-winning director-choreographer Casey Nicholaw directed and choreographed the musical, which officially opened on Broadway March 20, 2014.
