International News Get a First Look at Regent's Park On the Town Jacob Maynard has replaced Fred Haig, who withdrew from the London engagement following an injury.

The Regent's Park Open Air production of the classic American musical On the Town began performances at the London outdoor venue May 19. The staging, directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie, is scheduled to run through July 1. Take a look at production photos below.

Fred Haig has withdrawn from the production following a fracture to his foot. His understudy, Jacob Maynard, will play the role of Chip for the remainder of the run, joining Danny Mac as Gabey, Samuel Edwards as Ozzie, and Lizzy Connolly as Hildy.

Having trained at The Urdang Academy and The Dance Studio, Maynard has previously appeared in Guys and Dolls (Savoy/U.K. tour), Love Me Tender, Five Guys Named Moe (U.K. tour), and Ragtime (Pleasance).

As previously reported, the Regent's Park production of Jesus Christ Superstar will return later this summer. Also on tap this season are A Tale of Two Cities and Olivier Twist.
