The world premiere of Escape to Margaritaville, which began previews May 9 at the La Jolla Playhouse, officially opened at the California venue May 28.
Originally scheduled through June 25, performances were recently extended through July 9.

Paul Alexander Nolan, who last appeared on Broadway in Bright Star, stars in the New York-aimed musical, which features new songs and well-known hits by Jimmy Buffett. Nolan is joined by fellow Broadway alums Alison Luff as Rachel and Lisa Howard as Tammy.
After La Jolla, the show is scheduled to play New Orleans' Saenger Theatre, Houston's Hobby Center, and the Oriental Theatre in Chicago prior to a Broadway bow, scheduled for spring 2018. Christopher Ashley and Kelly Devine direct and choreograph, respectively.
