Susan Hill's The Woman in Black kicked of the 2018–2019 season at the Cleveland Play House September 15 in the Allen Theatre in Playhouse Square. The production also marks the beginning of the North American tour, which heads next to Pasadena Playhouse October 17. Adapted for the stage by Stephen Mallatratt, the show stars Bradley Armacost as Arthur Kipps and Adam Wesley Brown as the Actor.

Director Robin Herford recreates his original staging from the West End, with a creative team including design by Michael Holt, lighting design by Kevin Sleep, sound design by Gareth Owen, dialect coach Eva Breneman, associate director Magdalene Spanuello, associate lighting design/production manager Anshuman Bhatia, associate costume design by Clare McKellaston, associate sound design by Ray Nardelli, company manager Neil Hillyer, production stage manager David A. Loranca, and assistant stage manager Annie Zaruba-Walker. Casting is by Laura Stanczyk, CSA.
