Jennifer Simard joined the cast of Mean Girls on Broadway in the roles of Mrs. Heron, Ms. Norbury, and Mrs. George September 11.

The Tony nominee, recently seen on Broadway in Hello, Dolly!, succeeded Kerry Butler, who originated the roles and played her final performance September 9.

Simard is a Tony nominee for her performance in the musical comedy Disaster! She went on to play Ernestina in the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly! and has previously been seen on Broadway in Sister Act, Shrek The Musical, and The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee.

Simard joins a principal cast made up of Erika Henningsen as high school fresh face Cady Heron, Taylor Louderman as queen bee Regina George, Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Grey Henson as Damian, Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, Barrett Wilbert Weed as Janis Sarkisian, and Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall.
