The first four tracks from the original Broadway cast album of Hadestown are now available on all major streaming platforms. The first tracks released include: “Way Down Hadestown,” “Wait For Me ('Hey, the big artiste…') [Intro],” “Wait For Me,” and “Our Lady of the Underground.” Click here to listen on Spotify.

Nine additional tracks will be released June 7 with three subsequent drops—each tied to pairs or groups of characters in the mythology-inspired musical—will follow June 28, July 12, and July 26.

In total, the recording (which will later be physically released as a double album) will feature 40 tracks of over two hours of music.

Hadestown earned 14 Tony Award nominations and most recently won the Drama League Award for Best Musical.

The album will be produced by David Lai and Todd Sicakfoose, who previously produced the beloved 2017 live recording from the show’s earlier run at New York Theatre Workshop.
