Finty Williams (The National Theatre's Twelfth Night, The Old Vic's The Divide) will star in the upcoming Menier Chocolate Factory revival of Pack of Lies as Barbara Jackson—a role her mother, Judi Dench, originated in the West End in 1983. Jasper Britton will play the role of Stewart.

Hannah Chissick directs the limited engagement, which is set run from October 1 through November 17. This production marks the first London revival since its premiere at the Lyric Theatre, which starred Dench and her husband, Michael Williams. Dench received an Olivier Award for her performance.

Pack of Lies is based on Whitemore’s Act of Betrayal, a component of the Play for Today television series. Pack of Lies revolves around a suburban housewife and her husband in 1960 England. When they become the center of a mission to trap their Soviet spy neighbors, their loyalty to their friends and to their country is put to the test.

The production will feature sets and costumes by Paul Farnsworth. Full casting will be announced at a later date.
