As previously reported, Avenue Q, currently playing Off-Broadway at New World Stages, will welcome members of the musical’s original Broadway company and other alumni for 15 performances July 18–29.

Among those tapped to make surprise guest turns: original Christmas Eve Ann Harada; Stephanie D’Abruzzo, who originated the roles of Kate Monster and Lucy; original Rod John Tartaglia; and Trekkie Monster Rick Lyon. Other performers include Carmen Ruby Floyd, Barrett Foa, Maggie Lakis, Anika Larsen, Rick Lyon, Rob McClure, Brynn O’Malley, and Sharon Wheatley.

Each of the 15 anniversary shows will feature audience giveaways. There will also be an Avenue Q reunion concert at Feinstein's/54 Below July 30 featuring the show's creators and cast members from Broadway and beyond.

The Tony-winning musical Avenue Q features music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, a book by Jeff Whitty, and direction by Jason Moore. Set on a street block in New York City, the story follows a group of humans and puppets learning how to live and love in the Big Apple.
