The East High Wildcats are back.

The 2006 Disney film favorite High School Musical is coming to TV with a 10-episode series entitled High School Musical: The Musical. The show will premiere on Disney's new streaming service, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A premiere date has not yet been announced.

The docu-style series will follow a group of East High students who are staging a performance of High School Musical for their winter theater production. Additionally, every episode will feature a new take on a High School Musical song, in addition to original songs.

There's been no report as to whether the stars of the original films, like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, or Corbin Bleu, will appear in the series, which is still being cast.

As previously reported, Tuck Everlasting's co-book writer Tim Federle will write and executive produce.

The new Disney streaming service is expected to launch in late 2019. Disney's animated features, Marvel movies, and original programming will all live on the service.
