Great Comet co-stars Denée Benton and Amber Gray are set to perform at Breaking Ground this June, a benefit evening celebrating the launch of award-winning Brooklyn theatre ensemble The TEAM's latest project, a collaborative theatre piece titled Reconstruction.
The launch event will be held June 14 at Dumbo Loft and will also feature performances by storyteller-composers James Monaco and Jerome Ellis, actor and poet Modesto “Flako” Jimenez, and veteran Broadway and Off-Broadway actor Vinie Burrows, currently onstage in New York Theatre Workshop's revival of Light Shining in Buckinghamshire.
The evening will feature a dance floor and will end with a communal jam session led by Nehemiah Luckett, Anaïs Mitchell, and Liam Robinson. All tickets, included discount options for artists, are available here.
