Rachel Bay Jones, who earned a Tony Award last year for her performance in Dear Evan Hansen, will guest star on an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU. The episode, titled “In Loco Parentis,” will air March 7 on NBC.

The stage favorite will play Teresa, Detective Carisi’s (Peter Scanavino) sister. After her daughter accuses a classmate of sexual assault, Teresa turns to SVU for help. Susie Essman (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Ryann Shane (Banshee) also guest star in the episode.

Jones is currently scheduled to continue her Tony-winning turn as Heidi, mother to the title character in Dear Evan Hansen, through May. She previously took the stage in Broadway’s Pippin, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Hair, and Meet Me in St. Louis. Her additional TV credits include guest appearances on The Family and Louie.
