The Broadway companies of Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, and The Lion King will all offer special performances this summer to benefit The Actors Fund.

The Tony-winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen, which currently stars Taylor Trensch in the title role, will offer its special performance July 15 at 8 PM at the Music Box Theatre. The Tony-nominated new musical Mean Girls, which features a book by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Nell Benjamin, will perform for the industry organization August 5 at 8 PM at the August Wilson Theatre. The long-running, Tony-winning The Lion King, which recently celebrated 20 years on Broadway, will perform for The Actors Fund August 10 at 2 PM at the Minskoff Theatre.

Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, and The Lion King are the latest shows to take part in the Broadway tradition of benefit performances, in which the companies donate their time so that all proceeds will go to The Actors Fund.

The non-profit organization provides professionals in the performing arts community with various programs and resources, including health care, affordable housing, senior care, and career development.
