Benefits and Galas Concert for America Announces June Stop: San Francisco Faith Prince, Alan Cumming, and San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus are already lined up.

Broadway and local celebrities will gather in San Francisco June 24 to help raise money for five national organizations working to protect human rights in these challenging political times. The latest in the Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out! series will feature Tony Award winners Alan Cumming and Faith Prince, along with Jane Lynch and Kevin Chamberlin at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco.

Kate Flannery and the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus will also be featured in the June edition of the monthly concert series, created by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, benefiting The Southern Poverty Law Center, National Immigration Law Center, The Sierra Club Foundation, NAACP, and National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Participating performers are subject to change.

Rudetsky, a Playbill columnist and Sirius/XM radio personality, will host the 7 PM concert, which features songs, comedy, and commentary. Additional performers are expected to come on board in the coming weeks. The series, which originated at Town Hall in Manhattan and has performed editions in Chicago and elsewhere, will give its May 24 concert at Royce Hall in Los Angeles.

Prince, Chamberlin, and Rudetsky have been a special guest performers on several Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises. Cabins are available for Playbill’s Rhine River cruise in August 2017, featuring Rudetsky, Prince, Andréa Burns, Terrence Mann, Charlotte d’Amboise, and Santino Fontana.
