Awards Come From Away, Band's Visit, Hello, Dolly!, and More Win Casting Society Artios Awards The 2018 ceremony also honored Oscar winner Barry Levinson, CAA rep Kevin Huvane, and casting director Victoria Thomas.

The Casting Society of America’s 2018 Artios Awards, which celebrate casting directors for film, TV, and theatre, were presented in bicoastal ceremonies January 18 at Stage 48 in New York City and the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Theatre casting director Bernard Telsey was recognized for the talent he gathered for both the Broadway stage (Hello, Dolly!, which won the award for New York Broadway Theatre — Revival, Musical) and the screen (The Greatest Showman, which won the award for Feature Film Big Budget — Comedy). Telsey shares the award for the former with Craig Burns and for the latter with casting directors Tiffany Little Canfield and Rori Bergman.

Other winners in the New York theatre categories included David Caparelliotis and Lauren Port for A Doll’s House, Part 2 (New York Broadway Theatre — Comedy or Theatre) and Caparelliotis and Nancy Piccione for Jitney (New York Broadway Theatre — Revival, Comedy or Drama), Rachel Hoffman for Come From Away (New York Broadway Theatre — Musical), Tara Rubin for The Band's Visit (New York Theatre — Comedy or Musical), and William Cantler and Karyn Casl for The Band's Visit (New York Theatre — Drama).

Three individuals received special honors: Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson (the Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award), CAA rep Kevin Huvane (the Lynn Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement), and casting director Victoria Thomas (Hoyt Bowers Award).
