National Tour News Clinton Greenspan Will Take on the Title Role of Aladdin National Tour Adam Jacobs, who originated the title role on Broadway and on tour, will play his final performance March 31.

Clinton Greenspan will succeed original cast member Adam Jacobs in the national tour of Disney’s Aladdin, taking over the title role April 7 in Denver, Colorado. Jacobs, who originated the role of Aladdin on Broadway and later repeated his performance on tour, will play his final performance March 31 in Los Angeles. Greenspan has understudied the starring role since the tour launched in April of last year.

Also departing the tour are original tour cast member Reggie De Leon (Iago) and Mike Longo (Kassim), who will be succeeded by Jay Paranada and Jed Feder, respectively.

The stage production, which expands the 90-minute film into a two-act format, features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and a book and additional lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.

The touring production also features Michael James Scott (Genie), Isabelle McCalla (Jasmine), Jonathan Weir (Jafar), Jerald Vincent (Sultan), Zach Bencal (Babkak), Philippe Arroyo (Omar), Korie Lee Blossey (Standby for Genie & Sultan), Ellis C. Dawson III (Standby Genie & Babkak) and Adam Stevenson (Standby for Jafar & Sultan).

Rounding out the cast are Mary Antonini, Michael Bullard, Michael Callahan, Gary Cooper, Jace Coronado, Cornelius Davis, Bobby Daye, Lissa deGuzman, Mathew deGuzman, Olivia Donalson, Michael Everett, Karlee Ferreira, Michael Graceffa, Adrienne Howard, Albert Jennings, Kenway Hon Wai K. Kua, Jason Scott MacDonald, Angelina Mullins, Celina Nightengale, Jaz Sealey, Charles South, Manny Stark, Cassidy Stoner, Annie Wallace, and Michelle West.
