Awards Christopher Sieber, Julie White, and Harriet Harris to Announce 2018 Drama League Award Nominations The trio will reveal the nominees April 18 before the May 18 ceremony.

Tony nominee Christopher Sieber (soon returning to Broadway in The Prom) and Tony winners Harriet Harris and Julie White will announce the nominations for the 2018 Drama League Awards April 18 from Sardi’s.

The 84th annual ceremony will take place May 18 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square. The awards feature five competitive categories: Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the Distinguished Performance Award, which traditionally recognizes dozens of performers with a nomination and can only be awarded to an individual once in their lifetime.

As previously announced, the ceremony will also honor Idina Menzel with the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award, Casey Nicholaw with the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing, and the National Endowment for the Arts with the Unique Contribution to the Theater Award.
