Actor and master impressionist Christine Pedi will play her first live concert gig on Long Island, New York, in many years July 11, performing her show Great Dames at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport.
The Great Dames show includes her impressions of Broadway divas Ethel Merman, Liza Minnelli, Barbra Streisand, and Julie Andrews, among others. Pedi, who has appeared on Broadway and more recently as a special guest in the Off-Broadway Hamilton parody Spamilton, has a regular gig as a host on Sirius–XM radio. Pedi told Playbill, “I do know that I have a lot of Sirius–XM listeners on the island and look forward to meeting them because they are consistently the warmest and most appreciative audiences.”
