Disney Channel's Freaky Friday movie musical celebrated with a red carpet film premiere July 30.
The film will premiere August 10 on Disney Channel.
Leading the cast are Cozi Zuehlsdorff as Ellie and Broadway favorite Heidi Blickenstaff (as Katherine), reprising her role from Disney Theatrical Productions' stage adaptation of the film.
The Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey musical debuted in October 2016 at Virginia's Signature Theatre (the show is based on Mary Rodgers' 1972 novel and the various screen adaptations that followed). The show subsequently played La Jolla Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse, and Houston's Alley Theatre.
