Erivo, a Tony winner for The Color Purple and soon starring in the Harriet Tubman biopic Harriet, kicks off the lineup May 10. In the sneak peek, the performer, decked in a bedazzled pantsuit and backed by a trio of singers, offers a rendition of the Aretha Franklin staple “Ain’t No Way.”

Ashford’s concert follows May 17. As shown above, the Tony winner celebrates the disco era with nods to Dreamgirls’ “One Night Only,” Donna Summer, and Studio 54 fashion. Joining her as a special guest is Jake Gyllenhaal, who starred alongside Ashford in the most recent Broadway revival of Sunday in the Park With George.

Hilty hits the airwaves May 24 with a set that includes songs from her star turns in 9 to 5, Wicked, and, of course, NBC’s Smash. The concert also marks a reunion for her and two previous co-stars: former Elphabas Shoshana Bean and Eden Espinosa.

All concerts will subsequently be made available online and on the PBS app following their premiere dates. Additionally, three of last year’s concerts from the inaugural series will air encore engagements following this season’s lineup: Andrew Rannells following Erivo’s May 10 airdate, Leslie Odom Jr. after Ashford, and Sutton Foster after Hilty.
