Casting has been announced for the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan, which will launch the 2018 season May 17 and continue through June 15.
Fiston Barek (King Lear, The Rolling Stone) will take on the title role with Dennis Herdman (Around the World in 80 Days, The Lounge) as Captain Hook. The roles of Wendy, John, and Michael will be played by Cora Kirk, Theo Cowan, and Omari Douglas, respectively, with Elisa De Grey as Tinker Bell.
The cast also includes Sam Angell as Twin, Raphael Bushay as Nibs, Fred Davis as Twin, Caroline Deyga as Smee, Lewis Griffin as Tootles, Willy Hudson as Curly, Arthur Kyeyune as Pirate/Movement Associate, Kyle Lima as Starkey, Tim Preston as Slightly, Louis Quaye as Pirate, John Sandeman as Pirate/Fight Captain, and Ed Wade as Pirate.
Directed by Open Air Theatre Artistic Director Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel, the limited engagement will also feature set design by Jon Bausor, costume design by Jon Morrell, puppet design and direction by Rachael Canning, composition and sound score by Nick Powell, lighting design by Rick Fisher, sound design by Nick Lidster for Autograph, fight direction by Kate Waters, casting by Polly Jerrold, and musical supervision/musical direction by Candida Caldicot.
