Tony-nominated Carmen Cusack (Bright Star) presents a one-night-only show that will celebrate the fierce female musicians who have influenced her career. Carmen Cusack Sings Badass Ladies will premiere at New York’s Sony Hall on October 29 at 8 PM.

Cusack recently starred alongside Eden Espinosa in Lempicka at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She was last seen on Broadway in Bright Star as Alice Murphy, for which she earned a Tony Nomination.

Among the strong women to whom Cusack plans to pay tribute are Nina Simone, Patti Smith, Carole King, Dusty Springfield, Joni Mitchell, Sara Bareilles, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Kesha.
