Ten films will be screened this summer outdoors in Bryant Park, including the screen adaptation of the 1975 Broadway musical The Wiz on August 6.

The film stars Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, as well as Lena Horne as Glinda the Good Witch and Richard Pryor as The Wiz. Sidney Lumet directed the 1978 movie, which featured a screenplay by Joel Schumacher.

The lawn opens at 5 PM, and the screenings begin at sunset. Attendees are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy the film with friends and food.

Bryant Park is situated behind the New York Public Library in midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
