Benefits and Galas Broadway to the Rescue Benefit to Battle Homelessness in Los Angeles The 2018 event will feature a performance of songs from various Disney musicals.

Broadway to the Rescue returns to the Montalbán Theater October 13 to raise funds to fight homelessness in Los Angeles. All proceeds will go to Hope of the Valley, an organization that supports those in need.

This year, stage talent will perform numbers from Disney musicals, including The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Frozen, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast. An open call for the 40-member ensemble will be held August 10 at the Montelbán.

Broadway to the Rescue was created by Michael-Leon Wooley (Grace and Frankie, The Princess and the Frog) after he was inspired during his tenure as a volunteer with Hope of the Valley.
