To celebrate the upcoming Broadway bow of Be More Chill, Ghostlight Records and Two River Theatre have released a karaoke album and announced a nationwide contest. Fans of Be More Chill can sing along to the new instrumental tracks for a chance to perform at the Lyceum Theatre, where the musical will officially open March 10.

Those who wish to participate must record themselves singing “Michael in the Bathroom,” “I Love Play Rehearsal,” or “The Squip Song”—three of the seven karaoke tracks featured on the new release. The winner and a guest will be flown to New York City to see the production and perform their karaoke cover in front of Broadway theatregoers.

Be More Chill creators Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz will handpick 20 finalists based on talent, creativity, personality, and style. Finalists will be announced March 19, at which point fans will take the reins to vote for their favorite video. The voting portal will close April 2, and the winner will be notified April 5.

The cast recording dropped following the musical's world premiere at New Jersey's Two River Theater; the show subsequently played Off-Broadway last year. The full cast of the New York bow, including Will Roland, George Salazar, Jason Tam, Stephanie Hsu, and Lauren Marcus, will reprise their performances on Broadway.
