Broadway Bares Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque Will Be Presented at XL Nightclub Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque will kick off the 24th season of Broadway Bares, the annual fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, with two performances Jan. 26, 2014, at XL Nightclub (512 West 42nd Street).

This year's Winter Burlesque show, dubbed Calendar Girl, is based on last summer's Fire Island Pines performance that was inspired by 1999’s Broadway Bares IX: Calendar Girl. The upcoming evening will be directed by Michael Lee Scott. Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell is executive producer and creator of Broadway Bares.

"More than two dozen of New York theatre's sexiest dancers will take the stage in a stimulating strip-a-month journey through the calendar," according to press notes. Show times are 8 PM and 10 PM.

The Bares season will also include Broadway Bares: Solo Strips in May 2014 and Broadway Bares 24 in June. Dates and other details about those shows will be announced next year.
