Complete casting has been announced for the Geva Theatre Center's upcoming production of the Tony-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda musical In the Heights. Performances will run September 5–October 8 on the Elaine P. Wilson Stage in Rochester, New York.

Directed by Melissa Rain Anderson, the cast will comprise Yassmin Alers (On Your Feet!, The Rocky Horror Show, Rent) as Abuela Claudia, Xavier Cano (Grease and Rent) as Usnavi, Tony Chiroldes (original Broadway cast of In the Heights) as Kevin, Sidney Dupont (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as Benny, Natalie Gallo (Mamma Mia! and Jersey Boys) as Carla, Alejandro Gomez as Sonny, Donnie Hammond as Daniela, Mary Méndez Rizzo as Camilla, Jeffrey Nuñez (national tour of In the Heights) as the Piragua Guy, Mia Pinero as Nina, Alex Swift (national tour of The Wizard of Oz) as Graffiti Pete, and Chiara Trentalange (Anything Goes at Goodspeed Opera House) as Vanessa.

The ensemble features Cameron Burke (national tours of Matilda the Musical and In the Heights), Amanda Castro (who also serves as assistant to the choreographer and dance captain), Nico DeJesus (national tour and filmed version of Disney’s Newsies), Grace Hardin (Young Frankenstein at Muny), Tramaine Montell Ford (national and international tours of Dreamgirls), Adriana Scalice, and Carlita Victoria.

In the Heights has music and lyrics by Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. This landmark musical by the creator of Hamilton was the winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Original Score.

The production will also have musical direction by Don Kot, choreography by Julio Augustin, scenic design by Adam Koch, costume design by Kara Harmon, lighting design by Brian J. Lilienthal, and sound design by Danny Erdberg.
