After playing sold-out runs in Los Angeles and two Off-Broadway engagements last year, Drew Droege’s acclaimed monologue play, Bright Colors and Bold Patterns, is back Off-Broadway for a limited engagement. The show began performances at SoHo Playhouse November 12, and officially opens November 20.
Bright Colors and Bold Patterns is directed by Michael Urie. Performances will continue through January 7, 2018.
Written and performed by Droege, the play details the events leading up to Josh and Brennan’s wedding in Palm Springs. But as the evening spirals into a drunken, drug-fueled screaming riot, one of the guests becomes more and more furious about a stipulation on the wedding invitation: “Please refrain from wearing bright colors or bold patterns.
Tickets start at $59. The performance schedule and further information are available at BrightColorsandBoldPatterns.com.
