Cabaret & Concert News Brandon Victor Dixon, Leslie Kritzer, and Tony Yazbeck Join Musical Salute to Grey Gardens Writers Composer Scott Frankel and lyricist Michael Korie will be joined by special guests for the February 17 American Songbook series concert.

Brandon Victor Dixon, Melissa Errico, Leslie Kritzer, Scarlett Strallen, and Tony Yazbeck have joined the February 17 salute to Tony Award-nominated Grey Gardens and War Paint collaborators Scott Frankel and Michael Korie.

Presented as part of the American Songbook season, the 8:30 PM concert in the Appel Room will also feature the previously announced Kelli O’Hara and Julian Ovenden.

Dixon, O’Hara, and Yazbeck are veterans of Frankel and Korie’s Off-Broadway musical Far From Heaven, while Ovenden starred as J.M. Barrie in a previous U.K. version of Finding Neverland, which the writers also scored.

Among theatre-related stars coming up in the American Songbook concert series: Catch Me If You Can star Aaron Tveit (February 9), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star and creator Rachel Bloom and series collaborator Adam Schlesinger (February 10), and Tony nominee Justin Vivian Bond in an evening dedicated to Karen Carpenter (February 15).
