Emmy winner and Tony nominee Bobby Cannavale (The Lifespan of a Fact, Boardwalk Empire) and Tony winner Stockard Channing (The Good Wife, It's Only a Play) are joining the previously announced Frank Langella in Lapham Rising, according to Deadline.
The upcoming film adaptation of Roger Rosenblatt’s novel of the same name features a script by the author and direction by Charlie Kessler.
Catherine Parker (The Haunting of Hill House) will also reportedly be a part of the cast.
Four-time Tony winner Langella will star as Harry March, a retired writer living in the Hamptons. March’s peaceful existence with his talking dog Hector begins to unravel when a millionaire decides to build a mansion just across from him.
