Cabaret singer Beth Kirkpatrick is guaranteeing that at least two gents will have a date by the end of the evening at her upcoming nightclub show, The Big Gay Setup, planned for October 17 at The Green Room 42 nightclub in New York City.
Kirkpatrick is planning “a night like you’ve never seen before,” including “interviews, audience participation, and music from your favorites (Hello, Dolly!; Queen, Mika; the Indigo Girls, La La Land, and Monty Python).”
In addition, she plans to exercise her “talent for making romance happen” to match up at least two guests from her audience. “Two gents are guaranteed to have a date by the end of the night” she promises. “It could be you!”
Among her other projects, Kirkpatrick played Madame in the premiere and cast album of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and understudied another “madame” role—Madame Thénardier—in the 2014 Broadway revival of Les Misérables.
Tickets for her 9 PM concert cost $20 and can be ordered here. The Green Room 42 is located inside Yotel at 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street) in Manhattan.
