Tony Award-winning Broadway veteran Ben Vereen will bring his solo show, An Evening With Ben Vereen, to Jazz at Lincoln Center this spring with an eight-performance run at Dizzy’s Club.

Vereen will be joined by members of the Juilliard Jazz Ensemble for the engagement that runs April 4–7. Show times are 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

The song-and-dance star takes audiences through his life and career, from his Brooklyn beginnings and his Tony-winning turn as Pippin’s Leading Player, through his screen performances in All That Jazz, Sweet Charity, and Funny Lady, to his Broadway return as The Wizard in Wicked.

Vereen performs new interpretations of such songs as “Defying Gravity,” “Mr. Bojangles,” “Magic To Do,” and “Life Is Just A Bowl of Cherries” in the act that has played to acclaim across the country.
