Earlier this week, Ben Platt was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Hollywood Class of 2018 for his achievements in theatre. Now, the Dear Evan Hansen star will be included in People’s annual Sexiest Man Alive issue as this year’s Sexiest Broadway Performer.
As one of the Men of the Year, Platt is the youngest included on the list that has already been published online. The list also includes Blake Shelton as Sexiest Man Alive, Zac Efron as the Sexiest Thrillseeker, Luis Fonsi as the Sexiest Chart-Topper, 50 Cent as the Sexiest Triple Threat, Kumail Nanjiani as the Sexiest Husband, among others.
Platt was also named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People.
The Tony-winning performer will finish his run in the hit Broadway musical November 19. He has already announced he will be working on an album for Atlantic Records and will do some upcoming television work. Prior to Dear Evan Hansen, Platt played the role of Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon and sang on the big screen as Benji in Pitch Perfect.
