Before Barbra Streisand’s The Music…. The Mem’ries… The Magic! heads to Netflix November 22, take a look at a trailer for the concert experience above.
The first look at the captured performance—filmed in Miami in the final days of her 2016 tour—offers tastes of two Streisand staples: “Happy Days Are Here Again” and Funny Girl’s “Don’t Rain on My Parade” (with footage from the film—tugboat and all—behind her).
Also teased are featured special guests heard on Streisand’s recently released album ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, including Jamie Foxx, who joined her onstage in Miami for their duet arrangement of The Sound of Music’s “Climb Ev’ry Mountain.”
The Tony nominee is playing slick lawyer Billy Flynn in the John Kander-Fred Ebb-Bob Fosse musical.
The stage and screen star belts out the Alan Jay Lerner-Burton Lane tune.
Olivia Puckett, Mason Reeves, and more star in the Matthew Gardiner-directed production of the '60s rock musical at the D.C.-area theatre.
David Alpert will direct the 54 Below evening with musical direction by Carmel Dean.
Rob Ashford will direct the world premiere from Jason Robert Brown and Taylor Mac at Chicago's Goodman Theatre.
Jon M. Chu, who directed the film (and the upcoming Wicked films), will oversee.
The student revue is presented by The College of New Jersey’s Lyric Theatre.
Gordon Greenberg will direct the revised musical version of the Oscar-nominated Ang Lee film.
