International News Audible to Release Recording of London’s True West, Starring Kit Harrington and Johnny Flynn Sam Shepard’s classic is also currently on Broadway with Ethan Hawke and Paul Dano.

The London production of True West, currently playing the Vaudeville Theatre in the West End, will be released as an audio play by Audible April 4, according to Deadline.

The production stars Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones) and Johnny Flynn as brothers Austin and Lee, respectively, in the brother-versus-brother Sam Shepard play, a 1983 Pulitzer Prize finalist. This marks the London premiere of the show, which plays through February 23.

Simultaneously, Paul Dano and Ethan Hawke play the brothers in a Broadway revival from Roundabout Theatre Company. Performances for the New York engagement are scheduled through March 17.

The Audible release will be directed by the production’s director, Matthew Dunster, and will include original music by Joe Zeitlin and Flynn. The recording is continuation of Audible’s advocacy of theatre and an extension of the partnership between the Amazon subsidiary and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the $5 million Emerging Playwright Fund.

Meanwhile, in New York, Audible continues to commission and produce new works crafted specifically for the streaming format in its new creative home, Off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre. Upcoming presentations include the world premiere of the musical comedy Is Anyone Alive Out There?.
