Andrew Polec, who starred as Strat in the London and Toronto engagements of Jim Steinman’s Bat Out of Hell – The Musical, will reprise his performance in a 19-city North American tour beginning this fall. The traveling production will kick off November 6 at Detroit, Michigan’s Fox Theatre.

As previously announced, the musical will first play a return engagement at Toronto’s Ed Mirvish Theatre October 16 through November 4. The tour itinerary includes previously announced stops in San Francisco and Washington, D.C., as well as Los Angeles, Denver, Boston, Philadelphia, and Dallas.

Joining Polec on tour will be Emily Schultheis as Raven, Bradley Dean as Falco, Lulu Lloyd as Sloane, Avionce Hoyles as Tink, Harper Miles as Zahara, and Tyrick Jones as Jagwire. Rounding out the ensemble are Will Branner, Samantha Pauly, Zuri Washington, Alana Randall, Erin Mosher, Emilie Battle, Kaleb Wells, Nik Alexander, Adam Kemmerer, Michael Milkanin, Lincoln Clauss, Alex Deleo, Paulina Jurzec, Nick Martinez, and Tiernan Tunnicliffe.

Based on the cult 1977 Meat Loaf album of the same name (composed by Steinman), Bat Out of Hell is set in a dystopian city, where a rebellious street tribe battles against a tyrant, and a forbidden love ignites a war for the future of the city.

The production, directed by Jay Scheib, features choreography by Emma Portner, sets by Jon Bausor, costumes by Bausor and Meentje Nielson, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, video design by Finn Ross, sound design by Gareth Owen, orchestrations by Steve Sidwell, musical supervision and arrangements by Michael Reed, and musical direction by Ryan Cantwell.
