The world premiere of All Out of Love, a new musical featuring the songs of Australian rock duo Air Supply, will launch October 18 at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.

The musical features an original script by award-winning Canadian playwright Jim Millan and 17 Air Supply songs, including “Lost in Love,” “All Out of Love,” “The One That You Love,” “You are the Reason,” and more.

In the new musical, music mogul Tommy King tries to convince struggling rock star Jamie Crimson to embark on a world tour to promote his new album and save King’s record company. Jamie is struggling, having left behind his songwriting partner and love of his life Rayne, while Tommy is dealing with his own loss: that of his wife and his distant relationship with his daughter.

“We have always had such great support from our Filipino fans, Manila is definitely the right city to launch the show! We’re very excited!” Graham Russell, Air Supply’s songwriter, said in a statement.

“Air Supply were the first western group to tour China, Taiwan, and many other countries,” added Dale Harrison, producer. “With the world premiere in Manila, All Out of Love the Musical will continue the tradition of breaking new ground.”

Air Supply consists of singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock.
