An Evening with Alan Menken and Anna Rose—benefiting Daniel’s Music Foundation, a non-profit organization founded to empower underserved individuals with disabilities through music—will be presented June 26 at 7 PM at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center.

The father and daughter will perform together and individually for an evening celebrating diversity and the joy of music. Concertgoers will also have the opportunity to learn more about Daniel’s Music Foundation from co-founders Daniel and Ken Trush and enjoy a performance by Daniel Trush and DMF Artistic Director Gerry Powers.

In a statement Menken and Rose said, “We are so honored to partner with Daniel’s Music Foundation and be considered a part of their ever-growing community. The foundation’s mission is one of hope, love, respect and acceptance, which aligns perfectly with our own beliefs. We are thrilled to perform on behalf of everyone involved in DMF.”
