Performances begin October 7 for the world premiere of After the Blast, Zoe Kazan’s futuristic drama about life on earth after a total environmental disaster. The cast is led by Tony Award nominee Cristin Milioti and William Jackson Harper, who play a couple who have one last chance to have a baby.

Lila Neugebauer directs the LCT3 production from Lincoln Center Theater. Performances are in the Claire Tow Theater with an official opening night set for October 23.

Completing the cast are Eboni Booth, Will Connolly, Ben Horner, David Pegram, and Teresa Yenque.

After the Blast features sets by Daniel Zimmerman, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Eric Southern, sound by Brandon Wolcott, and projections by Lucy Mackinnon.

Kazan’s plays include Absalom, We Live Here, and Trudy and Max in Love. As an actor, she was Emmy-nominated for her performance in HBO’s Olive Kitteridge, and has appeared on Broadway in Come Back, Little Sheba, The Seagull, and A Behanding in Spokane.
