Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz’s musical Be More Chill is set to receive its New York premiere at Off-Broadway July 26. Based on Ned Vizzini’s cult novel, the coming-of-age musical tells the story of Jeremy Heere, an average teenager who, tempted by the prospect of popularity, takes a pill purported to make people more…chill.
Be More Chill, directed by Stephen Brackett and choreographed by Chase Brock, will play a limited engagement through September 23 at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
