The Cape Playhouse at the Cape Cod Center for The Arts kicks off its 2019 summer season June 12 with Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. Directed by Matt Lenz, performances continue through June 22 at the Massachusetts venue.

Edward Hibbert (The Drowsy Chaperone, Frasier) stars as Lady Bracknell with Sandra Shipley as Miss Prism, Younger's Dan Amboyer as Jack, Jason Gotay as Algernon, Mahira Kakka (Orange is the New Black) as Gwendolen, Olivia Hebert as Cecily, and John Thomas Waite as the Rev. Charles Chasuble. Rounding out the cast are Jesse Sharp as Lane and Victor Warren as Merriman.
