Azudi Onyejekwe (The Great Comet, Violet) and creator Doreen Taylor star in the Off-Broadway production of Sincerely, Oscar, a new musical celebrating the life, music, and legacy of famed lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II. Performances will began March 28 Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre ahead of an April 4 opening.

Sincerely, Oscar features a book by Taylor and direction by Dugg McDonough. The musical showcases over 30 of his greatest songs from shows like The Sound of Music, Show Boat, Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, Allegro, and more. The show incorporates Hammerstein's personal correspondence, unpublished lyrics, interviews, and rare memoirs to give insight into the famed lyricist's journey. The production also utilizes state-of-the-art 3D holographic technology.
