Seattle Opera presents The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, an electronic music–infused opera from composer Mason Bates and librettist Mark Campbell, which runs through March 9 after beginning performances February 23 at Seattle Center's McCaw Hall.

The opera, which imagines the Apple mogul revisiting 18 of his most important memories when faced with his own mortality, is directed by New York native Kevin Newbury, who also directed the original production at Santa Fe Opera. A recording of the opera was released by Pentatone in May 2018; the album went on to win the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Opera Recording.
