Three high school theatre troupes have been recognized with Theatre in Our Schools Outstanding Impact Awards for their excellent contributions during March's Theatre in Our Schools (TIOS) Month.

Throughout the month of March, thousands of students and theatre educators from schools across the country spread the word online, in their communities, school boards, and to elected officials, demonstrating the values of their school theatre experiences.

In first place is Valley View High School in Moreno Valley, California (Troupe 4735); followed by Leavenworth High School in Leavenworth, Kansas (Troupe 287), and Oswego East High School, in Oswego, Illinois (Troupe 6874), which tied for second place.

The TIOS campaign is a joint initiative from the American Alliance for Theatre & Education, the Educational Theatre Association, and the International Thespian Society.
